Pakistani Espionage Ring Busted: Ex-Cop-Turned-YouTuber Nasir Caught Grooming Indian Influencers for ISI

In a dramatic revelation, Indian intelligence agencies have uncovered a sophisticated cross-border espionage operation led by Nasir, a former Pakistani police sub-inspector who reinvented himself as a travel YouTuber. Now under the radar of national security officials, Nasir is accused of operating as a key handler for Pakistan's intelligence agency — ISI — targeting Indian influencers for propaganda and spying.

According to officials, Nasir didn’t act alone. Working alongside him was his associate, Naushaba Shehzad (alias Madam N), a travel agent who played a pivotal role in arranging visas, luxury hotel stays, and curated trips for Indian YouTubers who were willing to promote pro-Pakistan narratives on their social platforms.

How the Network Operated: From Visas to Videos

What seemed like travel collaboration or cultural exchange on the surface was, in reality, a tightly controlled intelligence setup. Investigations have revealed that once Indian YouTubers were “onboarded,” they were connected to Pakistani High Commission officials, including a diplomat named Danish, who was recently expelled from India over espionage concerns.

“Nasir would facilitate everything — from issuing Pakistan visas to ensuring a VIP-level stay — as long as the influencers agreed to shoot content praising Pakistan and subtly criticizing Indian policies,” an intelligence source shared.

The trail came into the spotlight after travel vlogger Jyoti Malhotra was arrested in Haryana. Allegedly, she shared sensitive information about Indian troop movements after her interactions with Nasir’s network. Another name that has surfaced is Jasbir Singh, also a YouTuber, who reportedly confessed to passing on strategic details in exchange for perks and exposure.

“This isn’t just about content anymore — it’s about compromise,” said a senior official. “What began as simple video shoots turned into silent support for a foreign intelligence agenda.”

Nasir: The Face Behind the Curtain

Operating out of Faisalabad, Pakistan, Nasir maintained an image of a helpful and charismatic travel vlogger, often talking about cultural exchanges, visa issues, and meeting loved ones across borders. He was also known for showing off his SUVs and luxurious lifestyle online — all while covertly grooming Indians into spreading favorable content about Pakistan.

His associate, Naushaba, used her travel agency to manage logistics and influence recruitment, sources said.

What Lies Ahead?

Security agencies are now tightening scrutiny on travel vloggers, influencers, and digital creators who engage in international collaborations, especially with countries deemed sensitive from a national security standpoint.

Officials have also urged the public to remain alert and report any suspicious foreign influence or offers that come with “too-good-to-be-true” perks.
