In a notable shift within the Radha Soami Satsang Beas (RSSB) organization, Gurinder Singh Dhillon has officially designated Jasdeep Singh Gill as the new leader and spiritual guide. This transition is effective immediately as of September 2, 2024.

Jasdeep Singh Gill, aged 45, has been appointed as the new patron and ‘Sant Satguru’ of RSSB, a prominent spiritual organization situated near Amritsar along the Beas River. Gill, who holds an advanced degree in chemical engineering from Cambridge University and has an impressive academic background with degrees from IIT Delhi and MIT, succeeds Gurinder Singh Dhillon in this significant role.

According to a statement from RSSB’s secretary, Devender Kumar Sikri, “Gurinder Singh Dhillon has chosen Jasdeep Singh Gill, son of Sukhdev Singh Gill, to be the patron of Radha Soami Satsang Beas Society, effective immediately from September 2, 2024.”

“Sikh Gill will also take over as the Sant Satguru, responsible for initiating followers and guiding the spiritual journey of the community,” Sikri added. “Baba Ji has expressed a desire for the same level of support and devotion to be extended to Jasdeep Singh Gill as was received by him from the sangat.”

RSSB is known for its spiritual teachings that bridge various religious philosophies under the guidance of a living spiritual teacher.

Before this appointment, Jasdeep Singh Gill served as the chief strategy officer at Cipla Limited, with additional roles at Ethris and Achira Labs Private Limited. His career also includes significant positions at Ranbaxy and Cambridge University Entrepreneurs. Gill’s extensive academic qualifications include a PhD from Cambridge and advanced degrees from MIT and IIT Delhi.
