Former Minister Sandeep Kumar Expelled from BJP Within 6 Hours Amid Viral Sex CD Scandal

In a swift and unexpected move, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has expelled former Delhi Minister Sandeep Kumar just six hours after he joined the party. Kumar, who was previously with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), was expelled following the resurfacing of a controversial sex CD involving him.

Kumar joined the BJP on Saturday afternoon in the presence of Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. However, by late evening, the BJP announced his expulsion from the party. This decision comes in response to revelations about Kumar’s past, including a viral video from 2016 showing him in an inappropriate situation with a woman.

Reports indicate that Kumar’s expulsion was prompted by his attempt to conceal his controversial past during his tenure as an AAP minister. The video, which gained widespread attention, showed Kumar in a compromising position with a woman, leading to his removal from the Delhi Cabinet and subsequent arrest by Delhi Police.

The BJP’s Haryana in-charge, Surender Poonia, stated that Kumar’s suspension from the party was due to his concealment of past actions. The case, where Kumar faced allegations of sexual misconduct and drugging a woman, had a significant impact, and his arrest followed the video’s circulation.

Sandeep Kumar first gained prominence in 2015 by defeating five-time MLA Jai Kishan and later served as a minister in the Delhi government. Despite his earlier prominence, his latest expulsion highlights the BJP’s quick response to controversies surrounding new members.
