Government official arrested for heinous crime in Bulandshahr

A 57-year-old government official has been apprehended in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, for allegedly committing atrocious acts involving a 10-year-old Dalit girl and an animal. The incident, which has sent shockwaves through the community, took place on Monday evening around 5 pm.

The accused, identified as Gajendra Singh, serves as an Agriculture Development Officer (ADO). According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shlok Kumar, Singh is accused of sexually assaulting the minor girl and engaging in bestiality with a goat. The chilling events were captured on video by a child who witnessed the scene.

The victim’s father has filed a complaint alleging that Singh entered their home and committed the heinous acts. The police have registered a case under various sections of the law, including the SC/ST Atrocities (Prevention) Act, the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, Section 65(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, and the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act.

“The accused has been arrested and sent to jail,” SSP Kumar stated. “The video footage will be crucial evidence in this case. We are committed to ensuring justice is served swiftly.”

The police have assured that the victim’s family will receive financial assistance to help them cope with this traumatic event. The incident has sparked widespread condemnation, with calls for stringent punishment for the accused.
