Patna Shocker: Hospital Director Shot Dead in Broad Daylight, Panic Grips City

A shocking incident unfolded in Patna’s Agamkuan area, where armed assailants stormed into a hospital and shot its director, Surbhi Raj, multiple times inside her chamber. She succumbed to her injuries on the spot. The assailants fled the scene waving their weapons, leaving the city in shock.

As soon as the news broke, police teams, including Agamkuan Police Station officers, City SP (East), and the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Patna City, rushed to the spot and launched an investigation.

Police Statement and Investigation Underway

Agamkuan SHO Neeraj Kumar Pandey confirmed that five bullet shells were recovered from the crime scene. The Dog Squad and Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) teams have been deployed for further examination. The police are also scanning CCTV footage from nearby areas to identify the attackers.

Attack in the Director’s Chamber

The horrifying incident took place around 2:30 PM on Saturday when a group of unidentified criminals barged into the hospital, headed straight to Surbhi Raj’s chamber, and opened fire on her. Before anyone could react, they fled the premises.

The hospital staff rushed Surbhi Raj to AIIMS Patna, but she was declared dead upon arrival.

Motive Still Unknown

While the police are actively investigating, the motive behind the brutal murder remains unclear. The attack has triggered panic in the area, and authorities are under pressure to solve the case swiftly.
