RJ Simran Singh: Famous RJ and Social Media Influencer Commits Suicide in Gurugram, Found Hanging from a Fan

Gurugram: Simran Singh, a well-known RJ and social media influencer, tragically took her own life in her Gurugram flat. The 26-year-old model was found hanging from a ceiling fan in her room on Wednesday night. The police have launched an investigation, but no suicide note has been found so far. Simran had been living in Gurugram for the past two years and was working in the modeling industry.

According to the police, the control room received information around 10 p.m. on Wednesday that a young woman had hanged herself in Sector 47. Upon reaching the scene, the police found Simran’s body hanging from the fan and conducted a preliminary investigation. There was no suicide note discovered during the search of her room.

Family Reveals Simran Was Feeling Distressed

Simran’s family members stated that she had been going through a tough time recently, which might have led to her taking this drastic step. They mentioned that no one else was responsible for her actions. Based on their written complaint, the police proceeded with the investigation, and the post-mortem was conducted the following morning. The body has been handed over to the family, and no case has been registered at this stage.

Known for Creating Entertaining Videos

Simran Singh had been residing in Gurugram for two years, where she worked as a freelancer. She was also known for creating entertaining videos and had a significant presence on social media. Neighbors reported that Simran’s door had been closed for a long time on Wednesday night, and when they looked through the window, they saw her hanging from a scarf tied to the fan.

Famous on Instagram as ‘Jammu Ki Dhadkan’

Simran was quite active on Instagram, where she had around 7 lakh followers. In her bio, she referred to herself as “Jammu Ki Dhadkan.” On December 13, she posted a video of herself dancing on the beach, where she humorously referred to herself as a “girl who can’t stop laughing” and also mentioned the gown she was wearing at the time.

Career in Radio and Freelancing

Simran had previously worked as an RJ with Radio Mirchi until 2021, after which she left the job and started freelancing. The police are currently investigating the reasons behind her suicide, but her family has stated that they are unaware of any specific cause.

This tragic incident has left her fans and loved ones in deep shock, and her untimely death has raised many questions.
