Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the commencement of the online application process for the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Graduate Level recruitment. The application window will open on September 14, 2024, and will remain open until October 13, 2024.
Vacancies and Positions
A total of 8113 positions are available under this recruitment drive. The detailed distribution of posts is as follows:
- Goods Train Manager: 3144 posts
- Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor: 1736 posts
- Senior Clerk cum Typist: 732 posts
- Junior Account Assistant cum Typist: 1507 posts
- Station Master: 994 posts
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university/institution in any subject.
- Age Limit: The age limit for candidates is between 18 and 36 years. There is a three-year age relaxation for all candidates due to the COVID-19 pandemic. SC/ST candidates will receive a five-year relaxation, while OBC candidates will receive a three-year relaxation. The age will be calculated as of January 1, 2025.
Selection Process
The selection process for the NTPC Graduate Level positions involves:
- Two Stages of Computer Based Test (CBT): CBT-1 and CBT-2.
- Post-Specific Tests:
- Goods Train Manager and Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor: After the CBTs, candidates will undergo a Document Verification and Medical Test.
- Station Master: Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT).
- Senior Clerk cum Typist and Junior Account Assistant cum Typist: Typing Skill Test.
Note: All CBTs will have negative marking, with one-third of the marks deducted for each incorrect answer.
- Shortlisting for CBT-2: Candidates will be shortlisted at a ratio of 15 times the number of vacancies for CBT-2.
