6 Year Old Dalit Girl Raped and Accused of Bestiality in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh; Government Official Arrested

A 57-year-old government official has been arrested for allegedly raping a 6-year-old Dalit girl and committing bestiality with a goat in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. The victim’s family reported that the accused, who frequently visited the village for official work, entered their home when he saw the girl playing with a neighbor’s child in the courtyard and no adults were present. The neighbor’s child, who is of the same age as the victim, recorded the incident on their phone.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken cognizance of the heinous crime, and the accused official has been suspended. The state government has also announced a financial assistance of INR 8.25 lakh for the victim’s family.

The accused has been identified as Gajendra Singh, an Agriculture Development Officer (Agriculture Protection) posted in Shikarpur block. On Monday evening, Singh visited a village under the Ahmadgarh police station area, where he saw the girl and the boy playing in the courtyard and sat on a charpoy nearby.

Senior Superintendent of Police (Bulandshahr) Shlok Kumar stated, “Singh entered the girl’s house around 5 pm on Monday. The family knew him. He committed the crime with the girl and then engaged in unnatural sex with a goat tied nearby. A boy recorded this crime on his phone. Singh has been arrested. Since he is a government official, he has been suspended, and a departmental inquiry is also underway.”

Kumar added that the police would push for a speedy trial and ensure that Singh is punished for his actions.

The victim’s father revealed that at the time of the incident, he and his wife were working in the fields. The children informed them about the incident, and they filed a complaint with the police on Tuesday morning.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed Kumar and the District Magistrate to visit the village, meet the victim’s family, and assist in the investigation. The government has also announced financial assistance for the family under three different schemes, totaling INR 8.25 lakh.

The incident has sparked outrage and demands for swift justice for the victim and her family. The police have assured that they will conduct a thorough investigation and ensure that the accused is brought to justice.
