Loharu, Haryana: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has leveled serious accusations against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and National Conference leader Omar Abdullah. Speaking at a rally in Haryana’s Loharu, Shah alleged that the two leaders have a hidden agenda to release all terrorists following the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir elections.
Shah claimed, “Rahul Gandhi has allied with Omar Abdullah with the intent to release all the terrorists after the elections, initiate talks with Pakistan, and lift bans on terror organizations.” He further stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has bolstered the armed forces to counter these threats, and under the BJP’s leadership, Kashmir remains secure.
Restoration of Article 370 and Haryana Politics
Shah also criticized the Congress for allegedly aiming to restore Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, which granted special autonomy to the region before its abrogation in 2019. He asserted that such a move would never be allowed as long as the BJP is in power. “The BJP believes that even the Pakistani-administered part of Kashmir belongs to India,” Shah added.
In his speech, Shah accused the Congress of fostering a politics of appeasement in Haryana, alleging that slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” have surfaced in the state. He urged Haryana to reject such divisive politics and emphasized the BJP’s commitment to enhancing sports infrastructure across the state.
Criticism of Bhupinder Singh Hooda and MSP Issues
Shah also targeted former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, questioning his track record on Minimum Support Price (MSP) for crops. “During Hooda Ji’s tenure, only 4 types of crops were bought at MSP. In contrast, our government has purchased 24 types of crops at MSP, and no grain from Haryana will be left unsold under BJP rule,” Shah declared.
Haryana will hold its assembly elections on October 5, with results expected on October 8. As the election approaches, the political rhetoric has intensified, reflecting the high stakes and strategic maneuvering by various parties.
