Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu has stirred up controversy once again with a new dig at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. This remark comes in the wake of a recent letter by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, who had criticized some BJP members for their derogatory comments about Gandhi.

In his statement to ANI, Bittu dismissed Gandhi with a jibe, saying, “They (Congress) made him (Gandhi) the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, but he remains a ‘Pappu’. Instead of lecturing others, Mallikarjun Kharge should focus on educating his ‘Pappu’.” The term “Pappu,” which translates to foolish or childish in Hindi, has been used repeatedly by BJP members to belittle Gandhi.
Bittu’s comment follows his earlier controversial remark where he referred to Gandhi as the “number one terrorist.” The derogatory nature of both comments has sparked significant backlash and intensified the political feud between the Congress and BJP.
